There is a difference between the minimum and the optimal system requirements.

The minimal specifications

Operating Systems

  • Windows 10 or higher

  • macOS Monterey 12 (Updated to the latest version) or higher⁠

Memory

  • 8GB or more of RAM or higher

  • 16GB or more of RAM fro Stem separation and/or Video

CPU

Core processor Intel i7 or AMD newer than 2017

Hard disk/SSD

4GB or more of free space
​(not including space for storing music files, etc.)

Sound

Audio output to speakers, headphones, etc. (internal or external audio device)

Audio File Compatability

ALAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF MP3, AAC

Display Resolution

minimal 1280 × 768

Browsers

  • ⁠Chrome (Updated to the latest version)⁠

  • Safari (Updated to the latest version)

Internet Connection

An internet connection is needed to download and install the DJ.Studio app and to create a DJ.Studio account.

Optimal specifications

There are the specs, if you want to buy a new machine that can run DJ.Studio perfectly:


​Windows:

  • an i7,

  • 16GB+ memory

  • an NVIDIA GPU. Those GPU's will do stem separation between 6x and 162x speed! If you don't have that brand we will use the CPU and only do stems at 0,5x to 2x speed.

Mac

  • an Mx Pro chip.

  • 16GB+ memory and you are fine.
    There is an m4 mini now for $599. Perfect for the job!
