DJ.Studio is a super cool tool for DJs and music enthusiasts. Here's what you can do with it:

  1. Create DJ mixes: Use the timeline editor with two decks to mix your favorite tracks.

  2. Prepare your live sets by trying out tracklist orders, the best location for a transitions, what effects to use in the transition

  3. Create Video mixes: Add cool 3D visuals to your DJ mix and export it as a video file that you can upload to YouTube including chapter information

  4. Make mashups: Create Smashing mashups in Mashup Mode where you can freely arrange and layer audio on a canvas. The in-build stem separation makes it pretty easy to mashup multiple tracks.

  5. Create Radioshows

Things you cannot do with DJ.Studio

It is not possible for DJ.Studio to

  • generate new sounds

  • play instruments

  • make DJ mixes without human interference

  • perform live

Frequently asked questions about DJ.Studio

Can you produce beats with Dj.Studio?

You cannot produce music or beats with DJ.Studio. You can take existing tracks and mix them together in a DJ mix or as a mashup.

Can I make mixes with free music?

It is not possible to make mixes or mashups with free tracks. The problem is that the music industry doesn't allow you to make dj mixes or mashups without you buying the music.
So you need to acquire tracks from a legal source like beatport, beatsource, apple music etc before you can record a mix or a mashup.
We made an integration with Beatport Streaming and Beatsource streaming so that you can try out tracks in your mix/mashup but when you want to record the audio (a.k.a. export it) you still need to purchase the tracks before you can export.

I am sorry, the music industry is heavily controlled and we need to obey those rules.
