Introduction: We've been receiving questions regarding the possibility of importing a whole mix created on decks into DJ.Studio. We understand the importance of seamless workflows for DJs and are here to provide clarity on this topic.

Question: "Can I import a whole mix in DJ.Studio that I created on the decks?"

Answer: Unfortunately, DJ.Studio currently does not support the import of an entire mix created externally, such as on decks or other mixing software. DJ.Studio is designed to work with individual tracks and create transitions between them within the application.

Steps for Recreating Your Mix in DJ.Studio:

  1. Prepare Your Setlist:

    • Ensure all individual tracks from your mix are available in a folder within your music library.

  2. Create a New Mix Project:

    • Open DJ.Studio and create a new mix project.

  3. Add Tracks to Your Mix Project:

    • Click on the "Add Tracks" button.

    • Navigate to your music library and select the playlist or folder containing all the tracks from your setlist.

    • Import all the tracks into DJ.Studio.

  4. Work on Transitions:

    • Use DJ.Studio's tools to work on transitions between the tracks. This will help you recreate the flow and feel of your original mix.

  5. Export Your Mix:

    • Once you are satisfied with your transitions and the overall mix, you can export it using DJ.Studio’s export options.
