How Elastique Pro Handles Pitch Shifting and Tempo changes in DJ.Studio
Audio stretcher engine which is used when you increase or decrease the tempo of a track or when you change the pitch.
Pitch shifting lets you move a track up or down in semitones without changing its tempo. It’s the key to harmonic mixing and creating smooth, musical transitions between songs.
Elastique Pro makes this possible with a two-step process. First, the audio is resampled, just like tape, which naturally changes both pitch and speed. Then, Elastique Pro’s advanced time-stretching engine corrects the tempo back to where it belongs, leaving only the pitch shifted.
The result is professional-grade quality. Vocals keep their natural tone, drums stay punchy, and full mixes remain clear and transparent, even under extreme shifts. And with both synchronized and unsynced pitch modes, you can choose between the smoothest transitions or instant response for live performance.
In DJ.Studio, this means every time you adjust pitch or tempo. Whether for key matching or creative mixing your tracks sound clean, musical, and ready for the dance floor. Upgrading to the plan with Elastique Pro gives you access to this industry-standard technology, trusted by producers and DJs worldwide.
