Audio stretcher engine which is used when you increase or decrease the tempo of a track or when you change the pitch.
Pitch shifting lets you move a track up or down in semitones without changing its tempo. It’s the key to harmonic mixing and creating smooth, musical transitions between songs.

Elastique Pro makes this possible with a two-step process. First, the audio is resampled, just like tape, which naturally changes both pitch and speed. Then, Elastique Pro’s advanced time-stretching engine corrects the tempo back to where it belongs, leaving only the pitch shifted.

By default DJ.Studio uses the Rubberband Audio stretcher engine when you increase or decrease the tempo of a track, making sure the pitch and tempo of your tracks stays the same. With the Elastique Pro Extension, the engine from Zplane will be used which is well known for its industry-leading audio software plugins and algorithms, designed for audio professionals, consumers, and licensees.
