Learn how you can share your YouTube mixes, and create a DJ.Studio profile page with our community mix Platform.

You can share your finished YouTube Mix via the DJ.Studio YouTube Mix Community Hub.

This platform allows you to create a DJ.Studio Profile Page, upload and share your mixes, and interact with other DJs on the platform.

YouTube Mix Platform Overview

The DJ.Studio YouTube Community hub is our central platform for hosting YouTube Mixes.

Here, you can:

  • Create a DJ.Studio community profile

  • Share your YouTube mixes on, or off the platform

  • Discover and follow other DJ's, and their YouTube mixes

  • Like, share, and remix mixes (commenting features coming soon)

  • Explore the community collection through genres, creators, tracks, and more.

  • See the most popular tracks used in YouTube mixes.

You can also easily search for mixes and DJs.


Opening and Browsing the YouTube Community

To open the YouTube Community page:

  1. Go to the DJ.Studio app homepage.

  2. From the left browser, click the Community tab under YouTube

  3. You will now see all of the Community content and browser.

  4. There are six tabs at the top of the page:

    1. Explore - See the latest trending mixes and recommendations based on who you follow.

    2. My Mixes - See all mixes you have published with DJS. This view also gives you the option to delete a mix you have published.

    3. Mixes - See all the mixes on the platform, and sort by likes, plays, or most recent. You can also filter genres.

    4. Genres - Get an overview of all the genres, and find genres you want to listen to.

    5. Creators - See all the DJ.Studio creator profile pages, sorted by accounts with the most shared mixes

    6. Tracks - See a chart list of the most mixed tracks in the DJ.Studio community, ranked by usage count.

Click on a profile to view all their mixes.

Click on a mix to listen to it. Some will allow remixing, or you can choose tracks to add to a new mix.

You will also see a range of links to share the mix on other platforms, or create a URL or QR code to share outside of DJ.Studio.


Creating a DJ.Studio Profile Page

DJ.Studio users can create a DJ profile page for the YouTube mix platform. To do this, you will need to have a DJ.Studio account.

  1. Open the DJ.Studio Settings via the cog in the top right.

  2. Go to the Account Tab, and click Edit Profile

  3. Now you will be able to enter your profile info, including:

    1. Cover image and Profile Picture

    2. DJ Name

    3. Username

    4. Biography

    5. Location

    6. Default genre

    7. Add external links (make sure to include https://www. at the start)

  4. Make sure you Click Save to store your info.

You can click your username handle in the settings to open your profile page in your browser. Share this URL to share it with your fans.


How to Export, Upload, and Share YouTube Mixes

It's easy to share your YouTube mixes to your DJ.Studio profile.

  1. Create and finish a YouTube Mix DJ.Studio project.

  2. Click Export in the top right corner.

  3. Select the Publish option.

  4. Fill out the information and options as desired:

    1. Title - Choose a title for the mix

    2. Genre - Pick which genre the mix will be categorized in

    3. Visibility - Choose whether the mix will be shown on your Profile Page or not

    4. Cover Image - You can upload a custom image for cover art

    5. Description - Enter a text description explaining your mix.

    6. Allow Remixing - Choose whether other DJ.Studio users can create a version of your mix to remix themselves

    7. Remove DJ.Studio Branding - When enabled, the hosted mix will not display any DJ.Studio logos on the web page.

  5. Click Next, and DJ.Studio will start uploading your mix to the platform.

  6. When the process is complete, you will see a popup giving you a range of links to view and share your online mix.

Share this URL with your friends and fans! They can listen to it without a DJ.Studio account or app, they just need the web link.


How to Embed a DJ.Studio Mix on your site

You can easily place your mixes on another website for sharing.

  1. Locate the mix you want to share. You can do this by opening your profiles (Settings > Accounts > Click on the profile link.

  2. From your profile, click the mix you want to share.

  3. From here, copy the URL and paste it into your site; you can also use the QR code to make it easy for people to open the mix on their phone.


YouTube Community FAQs

How do I download my YouTube project?

Due to DRM laws, you cannot legally download a YouTube mix, however, you can listen and share it with our mix platform, as explained above.

How do I delete my YouTube project?

Navigate to the My Mixes tab in the community. This shows you all of your previously created mixes. Clicking the menu on the far right, allows you to delete your mix:
