This guide shows you how to connect Engine DJ to DJ.Studio. This will let you use your Engine DJ library in DJ.Studio.

How To Connect Engine DJ to DJ.Studio

  1. Download the DJ.Studio desktop application for either Mac or Windows.
    You can download the app from https://dj.studio/downloads

  2. Install the DJ.Studio for the first time, like you always install apps on your PC or Mac.

  3. Open the Desktop App

  4. To connect Engine DJ:

    1. Click the Settings cog in the top right

    2. Scroll down to Connections, click on the Library Tab, and Enable Engine DJ

    3. You may see a popup asking for permission to connect. Make sure you accept or the connections won't work.

  5. Wait for DJ.Studio to locate and connect your Engine DJ library.

  6. You can now enjoy Engine DJ integration!


How To Use Your Engine DJ Library in DJ.Studio

  1. You will now be able to view all of your playlists and complete Engine DJ music library in DJ.Studio.

  2. To see your Engine DJ Library:

    1. Click Add Tracks

    2. Select the Engine DJ Tab from the top

  3. Click the +icon to add tracks from your library to your mix.

  4. Automix your playlist and get creative!


How to Export DJ Sets from DJ.Studio to Engine DJ

These steps show you how to create a DJ set from a DJ.Studio - which you can then import into Engine DJ.

  1. Finish your DJ.Studio mix.

  2. Click Export.

  3. Choose DJ Set.

  4. Tick Include Audio and Add File Numbers

  5. Choose the destination to export the DJ set.

  6. Now, open Engine DJ, and create a new crate in the browser.

  7. Drag and drop the exported files into the new Engine Crate

  8. Open it, and you will see all your tracks in order, as a playlist.


DJ.Studio cannot find Engine DJ library folder
