If you want to work with individual stems and save them for reuse outside of DJ.Studio, follow these steps:

Creating Separate WAV Files of Stems

  1. Right-Click on a Track in the Library:

    • Navigate to the library in DJ.Studio.

    • Find the track you want to split into stems.

    • Right-click on the track.

  2. Export Stems:

    • Select the option to create separate WAV files of the stems.

    • Additionally, you can create an Ableton project file if you wish to continue working in Ableton.

Splitting Tracks into Instrumental and Acapella in DJ.Studio

  1. Right-Click on a Track:

    • In DJ.Studio, right-click on the track you want to split.

  2. Select Split Option:

    • Choose the option to split the track into instrumental and acapella.

  3. Storage Locations:

    • The acapella version will be stored in the "Samples" section.

    • The instrumental version will be saved in the "Library" for easy reuse.

Quick Tips:

  • Library Management: Organize your library by labeling the stems clearly for future reference.

  • Reusability: Utilize the saved stems in new projects by simply dragging them from the library or samples section.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage and reuse individual stems in DJ.Studio or any other DAW.
