Don't worry — this is a known issue and can usually be fixed by resetting the Loopcloud integration.
Solution: Reset the Loopcloud Sample Pack Mac
Follow the steps below to fully reset the Loopcloud sample pack on macOS:
Step 1 – Locate Your DJ.Studio Folder
Open the folder that contains your DJ.Studio data (usually in
~/Music/DJ.Studio
).Make hidden files visible by pressing CMD + Shift + .
Step 2 – Delete the Loopcloud Sample File
Find and delete this hidden file:
.loopcloud-samples-v3
Step 3 – Remove Leftover Extension Files
Open Finder, press CMD + Shift + G and paste this path:
~/Library/Application Support
Locate the DJ.Studio app folder.
Right-click it and choose "Show Package Contents".
Open the Extensions folder.
If there's still a Loopcloud folder inside, delete it.
Step 4 – Clean Up & Restart
Empty the Trash on your Mac.
Restart DJ.Studio.
Re-download the Loopcloud Sample Pack from inside the app.
Additional Tips
Make sure you only have one version of DJ.Studio using the same database folder. If you use both DJ.Studio and DJS Next, consider setting separate database locations to avoid conflicts.
