DJ.Studio has integrated with Loopcloud, making it super easy to use Loopcloud samples in your mixes. Here’s how you can do it:
Loopcloud Free Sample Pack: Our friends at Loopcloud have provided an awesome collection of free samples that you can start using right away after downloading the Loopcloud Sample pack on the DJ.Studio sample tab.
Loopcloud Desktop App: If you’ve got an active Loopcloud subscription and the Desktop App installed, you can tap into all of Loopcloud’s amazing sounds, and drag them into DJ.Studio instantly. If you’re not already subscribed, DJ.Studio users can benefit from an exclusive 2-month free trial of Loopcloud.
It’s a simple way to level up your mixes with high-quality samples from the largest and most diverse sample library in the world.
Loopcloud Free sample pack in DJ.Studio
Create or open a mix.
Go to the Sample tab in the Studio view.
Click the Sample Pack tab and download the Loopcloud Sample pack.
You now see folders with sample collections provided by Loopcloud.
To browse the pack, click one of the folders.
You can go back to the folder overview by clicking the Sample Pack tab again.
If you want to listen to a sample, you can click it to play a preview.
When you find a sample you want to add to your mix, you can just drag it into your mix.
Loopcloud Desktop app
You can also connect the Loopcloud Desktop App directly in DJ.Studio, which allows you to browse through the complete Loopcloud collection and test out sounds to see how they sound in your mix before you buy them with your Loupcloud points.
You will need the Loopcloud Desktop app to use this integration, which you can subscribe to here.
The steps below give an overview of the Loopcloud DJ.Studio integration. If you already have the Loopcloud Desktop App installed, you can skip the first step.
Click the Loopcloud button on the Sample tab:
If you don’t have the Loopcloud Desktop App installed, you will see the modal below, which will provide you with an exclusive offer for a 2-month free trial.
Click on the yellow button to generate your free trial code
Go to: https://www.loopcloud.com/cloud/subscriptions/plans to subscribe to a Loopcloud Monthly plan and then download the Loopcloud Desktop App.
Create or open a mix in DJ.Studio.
Go to the Studio view and click the Sample tab.
Go to the Sample Pack tab, where you will see a Loopcloud button on the right.
Click the Loopcloud button to open the Loopcloud Sync plugin to open the Loopcloud app.
Browse the Loopcloud Sample collection to find the right samples for your DJ.Studio mix.
The Loopcloud integration allows you to preview Loopcloud samples in your DJ.Studio mix before buying.
Click a sample in the Loopcloud plugin and click preview. Then, play your mix in the DJ.Studio app. The sample is now played in your mix.
If you only want to listen to the sample, solo the Sample lane in DJ.Studio with the S button at the start of the Sample lane.
When you find a sample you like, you can buy it in the Loopcloud Desktop App and download it to add to your mix. Or you can drag it directly into DJ.Studio
