If there is no sound coming from DJ.Studio, or you can't hear your mix, this troubleshooting guide might help.

We have had several users report this issue, and we have not been able to reproduce it ourselves. This indicates that the bug may be caused by users' machines and settings rather than DJ.Studio. We are working hard to find a permanent fix.

That said, there are a few things you can try!

Sometimes, this trick works:

The most common solution to the issue of having no sound is to:

  1. Create a new project

  2. Add two tracks

  3. The sound should work

  4. If not, close your project and re-open it

  5. If this doesn't work, try another solution below

It might be related to your audio settings:

The issue of having no sound can also be related to your audio settings. Then you can try the following:

On Windows:

  1. Click the up arrow on your taskbar to open the sub-menu

  2. Click on the speaker icon to open the audio device selector

  3. Make sure that the correct audio device is selected.

  4. You may need to restart DJ.Studio for the changes to register.

On Mac:

  1. Open the sound settings

  2. Make sure the correct output device is selected.

  3. You may need to restart DJ.Studio for the changes to register.

Last Resort

If none of the above methods work to fix the issue of having no sound, you could try either of the following.

  1. Close and re-open DJ.Studio.

  2. Turn your machine off and on again.

If none of these work, please get in touch with us via the direct support chat.
