By default, some Mac devices don’t have right-click enabled. Follow these steps to activate it for mouse and trackpad.

Enable Right-Click Using a Trackpad on Mac

  1. Open System Preferences (Apple menu > System Preferences).

  2. Click Trackpad

  3. Find the Secondary Click option.

  4. Select “Click with Two Fingers” to enable right-click.

Enable Right-Click Using a Mouse on Mac

  1. Open System Preferences (Apple menu > System Preferences).

  2. Click Mouse.

  3. Find the Secondary Click option.

  4. Select “Click right side” to enable right-click.

Now, you can right-click by pressing the right side of your mouse to open the context menu.
