DJ.Studio uses a one-time activation code, which you will receive if you bought your license
from our website https://dj.studio/pricing
from a third-party website
If you bought DJ.Studio from within the DJ.Studio app, or bought a monthly license from our website, you will not have received an activation code. Your license is directly activated at the account you're signed in with.
During setup, you will enter your one-time activation code ONCE and connect it to your account, which is shown at Settings > Account.
If you want to install DJ.Studio on a new machine, you don't need the activation code again. Just sign in with the account you've activated your license at.
Where to enter your activation code
Where you enter your one-time activation code depends on the status of your account:
if you don't have an account yet
* Download the app from https://dj.studio/downloads
* install the app
* on the startup screen, click Activate here at the bottom of the screen
Create your account
Enter your activation code.
Your paid license will be connected to your account ( social profile + email address)
if you are still in your free trial
* Sign in to your DJ.Studio app
* Go to settings > Billing , enter the activation code and click Activate
if your trial was ended and you bought via our website
* On the screen which shows you that you have to pay because your trial ended, there is a button at the top Enter your activation codeIf you had a monthly subscription and you bought a one-time license

I updated my PC and lost the activation code for DJ.Studio - now what?
The activation code is a one-time code to activate a license, you can't use it again.
Sign in with the account you have activated your license at to get your license linked to DJ.Studio automatically.
After a successful license activation, a mail is sent to you with the subject:
"Your DJ.Studio license is activated" in there, you can find the social provider and account your license is activated at
How do I transfer my DJ.Studio license to a new laptop?
Follow these steps to use your license:
On your old laptop, go to Settings > Account and check how you're logged in (Google, Facebook, Apple, or Microsoft) and with which email.
On your new laptop, log in with the same button ( Google, Apple, Facebook or Microsoft) and the same email address.
Note: The database isn't shared between machines. To move a mix, backup your mix on the old laptop and import it on the new one.
