Quick answers
Question | Answer |
What am I asked at the first start? | Which DJ software you want to use as your music library. |
Which libraries can I connect? | Apple Music, djay Pro, Engine DJ, Mixed In Key, rekordbox 7 or 6, Serato, Traktor Pro 3.8 or higher, and VirtualDJ. |
I don't use any of them. | Use DJ.Studio's own internal library. You can add your own files to it, without connecting other software. |
Can I change it later? | Yes. In 5.0: Settings > Libraries. |
DJ.Studio can't find my library. | You may be asked to locate the folder yourself. See Locating Integration Folders. |
Is there a free trial? | Yes, for one week. You can try the Pro + Stems version, but you can't export mixes. See below. |
Which library should I choose?
Choose the software you use to organize your music, and you find your playlists and tracks inside DJ.Studio. DJ.Studio then tries to find the folder of that software by itself. If that doesn't work, it asks you to locate the music folder.

You can also use DJ.Studio's internal library as your main library. You add your own files to it, without connecting other software.
What does the free trial include?

Exporting mixes is not included. You can build and listen to your mixes, but you can't export them.
The Ultimate features are not included: the video lane, video export, and VST support.
To export your mixes and keep using DJ.Studio after the trial, buy a plan or a license. See Buying DJ.Studio.
